Commanders defensive line (DL) Chase Young has been traded to the San Francisco 49ers. Sports Play by Play (PxP) Broadcaster and Podcast Host of The Sports Scene with Jesse Ough shares Young’s remarks about his new team:
Chase Young knows that he is in “the building with winners,” after being traded by the Commanders to the 49ers. The culture of the team is completely different, the defensive lineman (DL) noted. In the final year of his rookie deal, Young is at an interesting spot in his career. In regards to his new placement, the football player was asked if he hopes to be more than just a temporary part of the team, as a contract has yet to be finalized with the 49ers. Young responded with:
“I’m not even worried about that right now. I’m just worried about learning this playbook and being the best player I can be.”
Jesse Ough loves the mindset Chase Young has right now. His head is completely in the game and it’s certainly interesting to see. Ough looks forward to following developments in Young’s career as the defensive lineman finds his place on the star-studded roster of the San Francisco 49ers.
