Fubo, a streaming service and cable television alternative that streams live sports and TV, is expanding its position as the home for local sports.
Play by Play (PxP) Sports Broadcaster Jesse Ough shares the details on how the Fubo-MASN carriage agreement will expand the platform’s offerings:
Fubo is a streaming service that provides life and on-demand access to content from major channels, like NBC, ESPN, Fox, Univision, Nickelodeon and many more. The platform is striving for greatness in the area of sports television. PxP Broadcaster Jesse Ough is familiar with the streaming service’s focus on sports. Due to their full channel lineup, Fubo is able to stream games in the NFL, MLB and more on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and ESPN. But now, thanks to a carriage agreement with MASN (Mid-Atlantic Sports Network), Fubo will expand its streaming coverage across a seven-state region. Ough explains that this means Fubo subscribers from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Charlotte, North Carolina will be able to watch their local teams live on the streaming service. This includes, but is not limited to, NCAA Division I men’s and women’s sports, pre and post game shows of the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals and more than 500 additional live events, games and sporting coverage.
